Chapter 4 Vocabulary (Lexis) List

Today in Chapter 4 we read an article about shopping in Poland.  Here is the vocabulary list from the article, which includes the 10 most important words that we talked about in class. 

 I told the class today two very important things:

1) Be prepared to write Question 9 in the test on Monday.  In this question, you’ll be asked to write your answer to the Town Survey on page 32 (Question 6) of the Pre-Int. Student book.  Everyone in Pre-Intermediate is doing this.

2) Next week we’re covering two chapters of New Headway (Chapters 5-6).  The bad news:  it’s a lot of work.  The good news:  you’ve done a lot of the grammar of this so not too much of it is new.  It’s important that you attend class on Friday because we’re going to do the last half of Chapter 6.

To prepare yourself for next week, you can 1) read the chapters on the weekend, and 2) do your homework at home.  When you read ahead and do homework at home, you will learn faster.
